Critical Situations Legal Aid |
The majority of people have at least once in their lives addressed
specialists to get legal services. These services are regularly
well-paid and in order to afford them you have to either be in real
need of them or to have not only enough money to survive, let me put it
like this. But what if you happen to have a dire need in legal services
on the one hand, while on the other, well, let me say it this way, were
not really ready for it? Well, one can never be quite ready for things
like car accident or other very unfortunate things. What if you are
short of money at this current period of yor life and all of a sudden
you have a credit
card debt
dispute with a bank? How to get legal services, if you already have a
debt on your hands and no money to spend on the services of a lawyer?
Well, in such cases people think of legal aid. Legal aid is free legal
advice or representation for a person who cannot afford it. Most
liberal democracies consider that it is necessary to provide some level
of legal aid to persons otherwise unable to afford legal
representation. To fail to do so would deprive such persons of access
to the court system. Alternately, they would be at a disadvantage in
situations in which the state or a wealthy individual took them to
court. This would violate the principles of equality before the law and
due process under the rule of law.
